Resident Care Facility for Children with Cerebral Palsy
|

Purpose:
Baan
Piranan was established in 2008 as a pilot and resident care facility
for children suffering from severe and disabling cerebral
palsy.
Baan Piranan has two specific
goals:
assisting individual children with cerebral palsy as well as using the
project as a hands-on teaching tool for students and teachers of
physical and occupational therapy. It is our hope that
whatever
gains these children are able to achieve while in our care can help to
expand locally existing cerebral palsy perceptions.
Baan Piranan is a project of the Foundation
To Encourage The Potential Of Disabled Persons,
a legally registered Thai Foundation which additionally operates
the Chiang
Mai Disabled Center, the Freedom Wheelchair
Workshop,
and the free Freedom Wheelchair Home Visit program for poor and needy
rural and remote area disabled persons across 6 provinces of north
Thailand.
Thank you for visiting the Baan
Piranan
website. We hope that you will visit all of our pages and learn more
about how our project is proceeding and how our children with Cerebral
Palsy are doing. Your
donations would be welcome, and we would enjoy an email from you
with your comments about this site and the Baan Piranan Cerebral Palsy
project.
